Dear Editor,

In regards to your article: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2021/06/04/ransomware-attacks-like-jbs-colonial-pipeline-just-start-doj/7549468002/, Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco is spot on calling for more vigilance by businesses against ransomware, but this is just the tip of the iceberg. True resilience is about being prepared for a range of cyber threats. The cybersecurity needs and demands may seem overwhelming, particularly for smaller businesses, but there are a number of useful resources that can help starting with the Department of Homeland Security Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Industry Information Sharing and Advisory Councils (ISACs) - you can find out which one you belong to here, and the National Cybersecurity Alliance. Stephen Jordan is the CEO of the Institute for Sustainable Development and served as the first private sector secretariat for the Partnership for Critical Infrastructure Security, which led to the formation of the ISAC system and the National Cybersecurity Alliance.

Thank you,

Stephen Jordan
