About the event
Overview
The current state of the environment and other sustainability trajectories are unsustainable. From unprecedented heat waves in Europe to record-breaking floods in the U.S. and Pakistan, countries worldwide are dealing with never-before-seen weather patterns of intensifying frequencies, magnitudes, costs, and catastrophic effects on communities.
The way forward, as emphasized by the United Nations (UN) and Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), is to accelerate and systematize innovation. A global Green Innovation Network (GIN) focused on habitat research would be game-changing for housing, construction, plastics, chemicals, food and agriculture, energy, digitization, shipping, aerospace, engineering - just to name a few industries.
This invitation-only working conference is for business, academic, and government leaders who are deeply concerned about how society is preparing for future challenges posed by climate change and extreme weather events. Summit attendees will discuss the current state of green innovation, offer insights about important issues, trends, and developments that need to be addressed, and conclude by identifying actions that can accelerate green innovation at scale.
Be a part of the movement to change the narrative and move innovation to the heart of the global environmental agenda. Together, we will encourage like-minded leaders worldwide to focus time, treasure, and talent on finding new solutions before time runs out.
