2025 Resilient Community Leadership Awards - Finalist Discussion

The ISD Community Leadership Awards recognize and celebrate the remarkable efforts of communities in fostering resilience and sustainability. In 2025, we invite experts from the ISD network (www.isdus.org) to share their insights on communities that have made significant strides in these areas.

Awards Focus

The awards will highlight:

• Small Communities: Innovative practices and initiatives that demonstrate resilience and sustainability on a local scale.

• Medium Communities: Collaborative efforts that engage various stakeholders to enhance community resilience and promote sustainable development.

• Large Communities: Comprehensive strategies and policies that lead to significant improvements in sustainability and resilience at a larger scale.

ISRC Spotlight on Countries

In addition to community nominations, we will seek input from experts at ISRC regarding which countries they believe are emerging as leaders in resilience. This will provide a global perspective on best practices and successful strategies that can inspire other communities worldwide.

Special Guests

 Specialists from various disciplines have also been invited to provide their insights.
