Clark Dumont, M.S., APR, is a C-Suite Communicator with experience in FORTUNE 500 companies spanning the Health Care, Aerospace & Defense and Hospitality & Entertainment sectors.
In 2018, he formed Dumont Communications to share his experience and insights to the benefit of organizations, and the people who lead them.
Prior to his consulting practice, he was Senior Vice President & Chief of Staff to the Chairman & CEO of MGM Resorts International. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications. Under his leadership, the company became an acknowledged leader in corporate social responsibility.
He has led C-level communications at BAE Systems, Inc., Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield and Nevada Cancer Institute. He began his career as a broadcast journalist covering Presidential Primaries in New Hampshire, his native state.
He has served on the Advisory Boards of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Corporate Citizenship Foundation, and the Corporate Responsibility Association.
He is a member of the National Press Club and is accredited as a public relations practitioner by the Public Relations Society of America (APR). He served on the Dean’s Councils at the Greenspun School of Urban Affairs at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and the Columbia School of Arts & Sciences at George Washington University.
His volunteerism portfolio includes chairing a community United Way Campaign, serving as a board member of public radio and public television stations and a member of the board of City Year New Hampshire which recognized him and his wife, Anne Dumont, with a life time achievement award, as well as other health and social agencies. He is vice chair of the American Red Cross of Southern Nevada.
He has a Bachelor's Degree from American University and a Master's Degree in Communications Management from Syracuse University Newhouse School of Communications.
